Accommodation summary:

When you enter the townhouse you have a kitchen on the left, which is fully equipped, modern and gives access to the terrace. On the ground floor you have a separate Bathroom and of course the living room with dining area. From the living room you have sliding doors to the garden where is a terrace and the small pool, perfect to cool off on a hot day and for children. The whole property is fully air conditioned. Upstairs are three bedroom with 1 en-suite. One bedroom has 2 single beds one with a double bed and one bedroom has a bunk bed also suitable for adults. Through one bedroom you have access to the roof terrace where you have a fantastic view towards the ocean.

Location:

In Cabanas you will find lots of little narrow streets with plentiful bars and restaurants. Here you can sample the freshly caught fish of the day accompanied by the various wines this country has to offer. Stroll alongside the totally unspoiled golden sandy beaches.

Reviews

Thanks for your email, we all had a lovely time in Cabanas and would love to return at some point.  The villa was a lot bigger than we expected

and it was great that there were 3 bathrooms.  Although small, the pool was fantastic and great for cooling down.

The train station was also very handy and we enjoyed taking trips into Tavira.

 

A few things to think about:

 

 

We felt that the roof terrace was let down by no furniture.  We had to cart chairs up and down whenever we wanted to sit up there, again not the end of the world but for older people or families this would probably be an inconvenience.  A small table and chairs and a couple of sun-loungers would really add to the villa.  Also some better bbq utensils would be good.

 

 

Despite this the holiday was brilliant and very peaceful.  It seems a shame that all of  those other villas are sitting empty but at least we pretty much had the whole street to ourselves!!

Having travelled previously I am aware of the problem of ants however some people might not be aware of this.  You should maybe make people aware of this as even the dishwasher was attacked - wasn't expecting this!! 


Letting us stay on the last day was amazing and we were extremely grateful for your kind gesture.  I think if people are coming and not hiring a car they should be made aware that there is nowhere for them to leave their bags.  Our last day was great but if someone else had been coming and we had nowhere to put our bags, it would have put a damper on the holiday.
